Industrial Automation System
The FacilityPro 5010 System from Particle Measuring Systems provides a central hub for an environmental
monitoring system, o;ering the ;exibility to sample either particles or microbial sampling points with
a single module. With a modular design, the system is able to be con;gured based on current sampling
requirements while o;ering simple expandability to meet future needs. Analog and digital inputs and
outputs for sensors such as temperature, di;erential pressure, and light towers are integrated into the
central processor module, reducing the number of sampling modules while simplifying the installation.
Additional modules are available to connect to a larger number of particle counters, microbial samplers,
and analog environmental sensors such as temperature or di;erential air pressure. The central vacuum
architecture further simpli;es installation. A backup vacuum pump can also be installed, allowing for
continued operation during pump failure or maintenance. The system provides an updated graphical
operator interface with an intuitive map-based design, system con;guration, audit trails, and data/trend
reports. In support of the 21 CFR Part 11 system, the software has strict access controls and requires electronic signatures for all actions and changes. The system can include multiple graphical client stations, a
secondary server with fail-over capabilities, and multiple remote access options.
Stonhard o;ers its Stontec Xpress
;ooring system for pharmaceutical
and healthcare environments that
require quick installations. The system
utilizes methyl methacrylate resins
to drastically reduce installation time
for new construction and critical path
projects, curing in as little as one hour.
This fast curing option maintains
durability and resistance to harsh
chemicals and impact from tools
and equipment. The ;ooring system,
suitable for cleanrooms and healthcare spaces, is weldless (
poured-in-place) and seamless, unlike traditional
;ooring systems. This easy-to-clean,
pin-hole-free surface assists with
infection control e;orts as it eliminates the spaces where bacterial
growth typically occurs. The ;oors are
sustainable — built to last the lifetime
of the building, eliminating the need
for costly shutdowns and repairs.
The GEMÜ 4200 series of switchboxes provide a variety of
options for linear and quarter-turn valve needs. All switch-es in this series are a combination of position indicator and
3/2-way integrated pilot valve optimized for valves sizes
up to six inches. The series covers mature products with a
solid background and newer products that combine years
of experience with the latest technology and innovations.
An example is the Class 1 Div. 2 and UL certi;cation on the
4242 device. Several communication options are available,
including 24 VDC, IO-Link, DeviceNet, and AS-I. All versions
include electrical position feedback as well as optical indication of position.

Asahi/America Inc. o;ers 1+ style compression ;ttings by EM-Technik, which pro-
vide a complete seal without the use of tools and signi;cantly reduces assembly
times. The design of the compression
;tting is highlighted by an integrated
clamping ring that allows for a secure,
reliable, and reusable tube connection
without the need for loose ferrules.
Available in PP, PVDF, and PFA, the
product is easy to install — simply
slide the tubing through the nut and
hand-tighten to create a tube connec-
tion rated up to 230psi. The ;tting is
currently available in 1/4-in., 3/8-in., and 1/2-in. sizes in union, elbow, tee, and
threaded con;gurations. It is suitable for air and liquid handling applications in
a wide range of industries including biopharm, analytical, chemical handling,
laboratory and research, and food processing.
