MONITORING SYSTEMS PRODUCT SHOWCASE 20
Kanomax offers its handheld particle counters, Models 3888 and 3889
(3- and 6-channel particle counters, respectively). The optional communication cradle available for these systems
provide options for Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and
RS485 connectivity, which allows them
to be operated remotely via the Windows 10 operating system. The units
feature component upgrades such as
a full color 4.3-inch LCD touchscreen,
which can display data graphically
for speedy interpretation and trend
identification. There is an onboard USB
input, which will accept a USB drive
and download any number of the
possible 10,000 data logs.
Particle Deposition Monitor
PMT USA’s Particle Deposition Monitor uses holographic techniques to detect
particles ≥ 20 μm that fall out of the airstream. Personnel behavior, gowning
protocols, equipment quality, and frequency and effectiveness of housekeeping
programs can all be monitored in real time. Data are recorded every 10 minutes,
24/7, with comparisons to 14644-9 Particle Deposition Rate classes, and alarming
capability when limits are exceeded. Battery power, wireless communications and
multiple simultaneous sensor locations are all options with the APMON system.
Configurable Facility Monitoring Systems
Beckman Coulter Life Sciences provides scalable Facility Monitoring Systems
(FMS) that can be configured to meet a wide spectrum of cleanroom management needs. Among parameters that can be efficiently and reliably monitored
are non-viable/viable air sampling, differential pressure, air temperature, and
relative humidity. All units are based on an open-architecture platform designed to enable easy, streamlined integration with existing customer systems.
Each instrument is built around Met One technology, including the portable
Met One 3400 series for routine monitoring and cleanroom classification, as
well as the 6000 and 7000 series of fixed, non-viable air particle counters.
AirCare Automation’s environment
monitoring, FFU control, and monitoring services bring the compounding
cleanroom to target operational levels
quickly and easily. The company provides automatic cleanroom monitoring
and traceable documentation to meet
USP 797 and USP 800 requirements.
Solutions are available for controlling
and monitoring, as well as complete
control and monitoring PLC systems in
color, greyscale, touchscreens, simple
push button, and/or toggle switch-type consoles. Available systems can
control HVAC and FFUs as well as measure pressure, temperature/humidity,
particle counts, and more.
Setra FLEX from Setra Systems Inc. ensures safe and energy-efficient indoor
environmental and ventilation control
conditions for critical spaces. Visual
and audible alarms are configurable. A
flush-mount faceplate is complemented by an intuitive graphical display
that meets any architectural requirement. The unit supports three rooms,
monitoring up to six parameters for
each room, including two user-de-fined parameters for applications such
as light levels or VOC monitoring.
Integration with building automation
systems is made easy through either
BACnet/IP or BACnet MS/TP network
