Ceiling Utility Grid
UG Ceiling Systems offers its Ceiling
Utility Grid system, designed to eliminate
catwalks and allow 100% access to the
top side of the ceiling system. Users can
walk out over a controlled environment
and make adjustments while the room
is in use. The ceiling system allows the
module to be changed to 4 by 4 ft. layouts. The hang locations can be varied
based on the building’s steel layout, and
utilities can be hung from the grid in the
return air chase. The system also offers a
2-in. tee bar grid with a hang point capabilities of 3,000 lbs.

Atmos-Tech Industries manufactures cleanroom
Pass-Thru Systems designed to protect the integrity
of even the most stringent cleanroom environments.
Pass-Thru units are manufactured with mechanical or
electrical interlock systems that permit only one door
to be opened at a time, allowing the room cleanliness and pressurization to be maintained.
Units are built in 304 or 316 stainless steel,
epoxy painted steel, laminated particleboard,
and Poly-Pro. They are available in standard and
custom sizes and configurations. Options include
HEPA/ULPA filtration systems, fire rated doors,
exhausting units, ultra violet lighting, electro polishing, cart pass-thrus, and automatic doors.

Cleanrooms and
Components
United Partition Systems’s cleanrooms are
constructed from components which can be
changed in size and design and meet cleanliness levels from Class 100,000 (ISO 8) to
Class 10 (ISO 4). The pre-fabricated insulated
4-in. wall systems allow rooms to be modified, expanded, or relocated with minimal
expense or down-time and is almost 100%
reusable. Panels are available with various
surface finishes including vinyl, high pressure
laminates, fiberglass reinforced plastic, painted steel, and painted aluminum (conductive
or non-conductive). Panel cores are expanded polystyrene, isocyanurate, or gypsum.
The ceiling grid systems are available in
1-, 1.5-, and 2-in. grid sizes and is finished
in white painted enamel or powdercoat.
Ceiling tiles are 0.5-in. sheetrock core with a
vinyl covered face on one side with sealed
edges. Other styles and materials of construction are available such as press board
or honeycomb, painted steel, aluminum,
PVC, or polycarbonate.
United also offers an array of pass-thru
chambers, from small wall mount units to
large floor mounted units. They are available in finishes from plastic laminate to
electro-polished stainless steel, and are
available with mechanical and automated
interlock mechanisms.
High-speed cleanroom grade roll-up
doors allow access to the controlled environment while limiting the possibility of
outside contamination. Raised access flooring can hide services such as electrical and
water. This flooring is available in solid or
perforated and can also be used as a return
air chase for more stringent applications.
Modular
Cleanroom
CleanAir Solutions Inc. has developed a
Modular Compliant Cleanroom product
designed specifically for meeting the
exacting standards of the USP-797 guide-
lines. The modular cleanroom is designed
with Active Channel Technology, a two-
piece frame that allows the end user to
vary the thickness of the insert material
from 1/8-in. to 3/8-in. A variety of insert
materials are offered, including ABS, poly-
carbonate, aluminum composite, acrylic,
and tempered glass.
